Use of the BFS is primarily for Claremont Colleges students and faculty. Classes from other colleges and universities may also use this form to apply to use the BFS, but such use must be approved by the BFS Manager and the Claremont University Consortium, so please apply well in advance of the desired use date. Note that projects or activities involving habitat alteration, collecting, or vertebrate animals will require additional approvals.

This form is only for course use by the Claremont Colleges members and other colleges and universities. For research projects or independent projects conducted by one or a few students in a course, please use the Research Request Form. A form is also available for other Claremont College uses.

Project/Activity Description: Briefly describe your research project, including purpose, methods, and significance. Note that your description will appear on the BFS Projects page. If you would like to post a more detailed research proposal or description, please e-mail an attachment or link to the webmaster.

Final Report:
Report : Copies of all reports and publications resulting from research conducted at the BFS are to be submitted to the BFS Manager. You may submit your final report either electronically or as hard copy.
